Giuliano Saracchini

Giuliano Saracchini is Managing Director of Licata SpA. He was born on 6 October 1959 in the province of Rieti and lives in Rome. He is a long-time manager with over 35 years of professional experience. He has gained, in leading national and international Groups, consolidated experience in the following functional areas: Administration-Finance-Control, corporate reorganisation and restructuring also in the context of current insolvency regulations, M&A operations and in the IT development and re-engineering of IT platforms serving the Business.

He began his professional career in 1982 and, after various professional and training experiences, joined the Federici Group as Group Treasury Manager in 1992. After a two-year period abroad, holding the position of Operational Finance Director, he returned to Italy in 98 to hold the position of Finance and Control Director in the Sacci Group. In 2016, he managed the bankruptcy arrangement (one of the largest in Italy) of Sacci Spa, contributing to the success of the operation. Following the Cementir Holding Group's acquisition of Sacci, he has held the role of Treasury & PB&C Manager of the Central Mediterranean Region since 2016. 

In 2018, following the acquisition of Cementir Spa (a company of the Caltagirone Group) by the Heidelberg Group, he joins Italcementi SpA where he remains until August 2019.

From September 2019, he joins Licata as CFO. After going through a financial restructuring in June 2021 he joins the Board of Directors of the Company and is appointed Managing Director while also maintaining the position of CFO.
